What does it cost?
These are the full daily fees before the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is applied. Most families pay significantly less after their subsidy kicks in.
Nursery Room

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can reduce your out-of-pocket costs significantly and many families pay just a fraction of the above rates. We'll help you work out your actual cost when you enquire. The 3 Day CCS Guarantee gives every eligible family at least three subsidised days per fortnight. The Start Strong program can reduce preschool fees further for 3–5 year olds.

Subsidies available to you
Pumpkin participates in all major government funding initiatives to help keep childcare affordable for Matraville families.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
A federal government subsidy based on your family's income, activity level, and the type of care. Most families are eligible. It's applied directly to your fees and you only pay the gap. You can check your eligibility and apply at myGov.
Start Strong Preschool Funding
The NSW Government's Start Strong program provides additional funding for 3–5 year olds enrolled in preschool programs. This can significantly reduce your daily fees for children in our Lionfish and Starfish rooms.
3 Day CCS Guarantee
Eligible families are guaranteed at least three subsidised days per fortnight, regardless of your work or study hours. This applies to children 0–5 years old.
Direct Debit Discount
Set up direct debit and save $6 per day. That's up to $30 a week back in your pocket if your child attends five days.

How enrolment works
We like to keep it simple. Here's what the process looks like from first enquiry to first day.

Submit your enquiry

Come for a tour
Meet the educators, see the rooms, ask all your questions. Our door is always open and no appointment needed, or book a time that suits you.

Confirm your place
We'll confirm availability and send through your enrolment forms. We'll also help you sort out your CCS before your first day.
04
First day!
We do a gentle orientation so your child feels comfortable. Every new family gets extra check-ins in the first two weeks.
